  • Summary of the weekend

Both horses made great efforts during this weekend’s finals. Giovanna just missed a placing in 3-year-olds finale. 78.2% and 8’s for trot and submission. Beau has had it a little tough with fur setting but still came at a very fine 13th place. We predict great futures for these two horses.

  • A crucial decision was made in Falsterbo

A crucial decision was made in Falsterbo

We only had 6-year-old Beau to start in Falsterbo in the year, namely the Scandinavian Open for 6-year old horses. Beau, by: Lingh-Ferro, owned by Johan Ifverson and others, unfortunately could not make himself justice because of his stallion nature and shouted more or less throughout the program. The owners of Beau took the wise decision to neuter Beau, who was just too stressed and busy to be stallion. So no success in Falsterbo in years but it was made a very wise and critical decisions for Beau will get a quieter life now!

  • Brilliant sunshine and dressage training – can it get any better?

Brilliant sunshine and dressage training – can it get any better?

The 8-9/7 we had the premiere of PK camp. This was a very popular two-day dressage course for 15 of mine and Kerstin’s students. The course began with a mini clinic where I rode Beau and Kerstin commented. Then we trained diligently for two days and also had a very popular Italian buffet for dinner in the evening where the mood was high. The weather was the best summer can offer during those days and made it a successful course that we like to repeat next summer.
